In his nude works, Thierry's uncontrived art form of erotism is often explicit and pushing the edge. 'His work goes far beyond the latest Abercrombie & Fitch ads (which border on the pornographic)," says Melissa Thompson, a curator of contemporary art in London. "And yet, he is also far from standard hardcore. He has an aesthetic infused with mystery, irony, and images of uncommon beauty, all hallmarks of great art.

Discerning connoisseur of fine erotic art will revel in the work. Thompson particularly likes the European themes Thierry mines as subjects, and the striking models Thierry employs.  "You don't see women captured in such tasteful and yet highly provocative ways in the internet."

You'd never find this high level of imagery in mainstream porn.  In that sense, it's a pleasant surprise when you come across it," Thompson notes.

As a fashion photographer I've always tried to introduce sex and erotica in my pictures.  Sex is beautiful.  It is a very important part of my life and I like to show this in my photos.  I want everybody to see what I see and experience the same joy and pleasure as me.

When I do castings, I select only girls I desire. Whether it is for my fashion work or my nude projects. That's the key to great pictures and the only way to work. When I'm shooting, I must want the girl. She has to know this. Taking pictures is like a sex ritual. A game. At that moment she means everything to me. If I am successful in showing her my desires, then she will feel the same way and the photos will come out amazing. It is a bond. The glow in a model's eyes doesn't lie. I want the viewer to see this and feel how I feel.

desires. I want her aroused. I guess more than just nudity is my love and pleasure to see beautiful girls in ecstasy. And good erotic photography must show this.

When I moved to Paris from Nice in the early '90s and began to do photography, the most exciting thing was to go to the fashion shows. For me, it was great. As a photographer, I was able to go backstage. I would meet all those amazing girls. They were all so glamorous and beautiful. The girls would be walking around nude so freely and let me take their photos. It was just like Eden. Trust me, when you're a young guy, you want to be there!

This, I think, played a big role in how I portray women in my photography. To  tell  you the truth,  my photos express real

I always try to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere during shoots. Sometimes I am working and a model calls her girlfriends and out of nowhere a party starts --it always seems like the photo shoot should be about the party. And you know it's great when all the girls are dancing and even getting naked.

When I started with the idea of Glam Deluxe, I wanted to show erotism. I think a naked girl can be sexy but for me the most important thing is to see a girl in her sexual character. That's  true eroticism!  I want  to see  her  sexual

eroticism. That's how I want women to look. I want them to trust me and show me their sexual arousal. Because when they do, they also let me capture their vulnerability and insecurities. This is so beautiful. And I love people to see this in my work.
